The International Short Stories jury composed by Paolo Mereghetti (chairman), Stefano Pittarello and Beatrice Fiorentino awarded "That Smell" with the Grand Jury Prize for Best International Short Film at the 20th Mestre Film Fest in Venice, Italy over the weekend.
The jury commented, "The film tells pleasures of fairy tales and is stirring of mystery. Thus emphasizing the originality of the story, but also the subtle charm of cinema that does not reject the traditional and captivating strength of realistic language that can make it vibrate with surprising and unexpected surreal feelings. "
